Hi,
This morning I had a freeze from the nvidia driver and the watchdog kicked
in and reset the box.
Upon booting up the nova-t 500 card was playing up. And something which
hasn't been mentioned here is that this card will always crash for me
unless I turn the power off when rebooting.

Hello,
So, the picture is at http://www.synco.ro/pics/skystar_hd.jpg (sorry for
the flash), and under the tin can (which i de-soldered after taking the
picture) there is indeed a STB6100.

Hello,
I 'desperately' need support (preferably including CI) for the TechniSat
SkyStar HD card, using SAA7146 + STB0899 chips. I own one of these cards
(and a CI module coming soon), and I'm willing to help with anything
I'll try to keep it short. I've got a TT S-1500 and the CAM can not be
seen in /dev/dvb/adapter. It doesn't work either, no encrypted channel
lights up. FTA channels do. However, on my KNC1 DVB-C with Cineview,
there is a "ca0" in /dev/dvb/adapter and in Kaffeine I can watch
encrypted channels.

Hi Nick,
thanks for this nice patch. I'm not in charge of committing that (don't
know the uli-thing very well), but I would like to comment:

Here's my patch so far.
Two remaining problems:
1 - device is probed twice and I end up with 4 /dev/dvb adapters
rather than two. The reason is that the USB configuration defines
two interfaces, so the probe function is called once for each
interface.
I don't yet know what to do about this. Pre
