Hi Sirs,
I have to admit, I am a little bit disappointed:
After two days of playing around with the source, I was hoping to be able to

I think the afatech bridge is supported so is that maxline tuner so
someone just need to combine the two but our lunix-dvb friends are too
busy bickering over who signed off a line of code.

Anyone?
If any of the devs are interested in adding support for this device
i'll happily provide the hardware.
On the other hand if support is unlikely or far off then i'll return
the devices and try elsewhere.
Thanks,

Can you try attached patch and report?
This patch is a little bit unready due to changes needed to zl10353
demodulator driver. I have no knowledge what are registers 0x8e and
0x90-0x96 (please help) but I have strong feeling that those are
associated to the AGC2 functionality. I think

Hi there!
Another time the fetching of some firmware with get_dvb_firmware fails. This
time it is for
# get_dvb_firmware sp8870
That tries to fetch http://www.technotrend.de/new/217g/tt_Premium_217g.zip,
but this file is no longer available.

Hello everybody,
I've got a Vivanco PCI Hybrid card which seems to be another LifeView Hybrid
clone, very much like the MSI [EMAIL PROTECTED] (the card layout looks exactly
the
same) card or the AsusTek P7131 Hybrid,
as treated in some threads in January and May.
The card's subsystem ID is 4e
Great!
(out of curiosity:) Why doesn't the operator of Hotbird not take care of
updating the links? Is this normal?

having read various tutorials, having tried various repositories including
v4l-dvb-experimental from mcentral.de, v4l-dvb-test and the regular v4l-dvb,
having installed rc4 of 2.4.22 kernel, while trying to follow the rules of
clean install and reboot, I have to admit, that tuning to 794
Thanks Michel, I'll let you know how it goes.
