I'd like to graph the cable dvb-c signal strength in cacti.
Has anyone done this, or can recommend how? If I walk the snmp variables
exposed, there doesn't appear to be anything useful natively there?

I have a VDR box in the basement doing most of my recording. It has a
PVR-500 and DVB-C TT-1500 card in it and it runs vdr-1.5.6.
Upstairs I have a fanless box in the living room running vdr-1.5.12.
Some recordings sourced from the PVR-500 have stuttering sound when played

I recently received one of the new TechnoTrend 1500-C cards, CI and Irdeto
CAM from dvbshop. This card has 2 75 Ohm connectors (cable-in and
cable-out).
From vdr-portal.de I understand this is a brand new card, and some people
have been experiening problems with QAM256.

I did not buy the CI interface. It also says in the kernel config that the
decoding functionality is not supported ATM.

A few weeks back I started some threads about my TT-1500C, CI and Irdeto
CAM. I suspected faulty hardware, so have been working under Windows to
test it.
I've now confirmed some transponders and PIDS which definitely work with
my combination.

transmission and I'm looking for a good PCI/CAM combination for running a
recent (2.6.19 or newer) kernel.
I'm also told the Irdeto CAM also works here, but I see there a many
different variations (2.06, 2.18 etc etc).
