Hi,
now we had bad weather, and I had some time to review the code. ;-)
General note
Obviously, the multiproto tree has not been updated from master for a
very long time. When merging care must be taken that no regressions flow
back to the main development tree.
For now I ignored

I guess this email is more for Steve and Manu.
It is very pleasing to see the work going on for the HVR4000 and pushing
the multiproto tree back into the main tree.
Infact its a breath of fresh air as I have sadly watched the HVR3000
branch be stripped to DVB-T and merged in without the DVB-S

Hi,
I've bought the Terratec Cinergy 1200 DVB-T and have problems to get it
running.
I'm using Kubuntu Gutsy (amd64) with the 2.6.23.1 vanilla kernel (The
official kernel in the repos is very very buggy, so I don't want to try
it out there). Tried adding the modules

Hello,
thanks for your answer.
I haven't mixed them up, so this shouldn't be the problem.
One time I compiled the kernel with the modules without adding any
modules from v4l-dvb - not working. Next time I unloaded all modules
from the kernel and loaded the ones from v4l-dvb, same thing. I've

Hi all,
I searched a way to make the remote of the gigabyte u7000 working.
Looking at /var/log/messages when pressing the remote keys give me that
list, but I don't know how to get farther :
/* Key codes for the Gigbyte U7000 , look a little bit funny
compared to the previous ones */

Hi again,
it worked now after unloading all the dvb-stuff and loading tda1004x
first and the other modules later. It's still failing on startup though,
so yes, it looks like attaching the needed frontend modules isn't
working. Will fix the startup-problem later, I'm happy that it's working

Don't worry, I'm just being a jerk.
I said it uses the LG-H064f, and that's what it says on the wiki.
Indeed, this is true for the AirStar-HD5000-USB.
However, this thread _isn't_ about that device. This was
