my POV the patch looks really good; I'd prefer if you could add it to the
experimental branch yourself, but if you don't like to I'll take care of that.
Will do, access permitting :)

Hi,
I intend to prepare, test and upload an NMU of FAI 3.4.1 tomorrow to
finally beat FAI into shape for Squeeze (fixing #595365).
If there's any reason why I shouldn't do it, please let me know ASAP.
Thanks,

I have an idea for a new small feature in setup-storage, I'll post an
RFC next week about it. Nothing earth-shattering but something that can
come quite handy with RAID.

Now, I can either write a tool that parses parted output to generate a

Any thoughts?

The idea is to integrate this into setup-storage to avoid having to keep

Hi,
Just a heads up (mainly for Mika wrt 3.4.3) about another issue with
RAID preserve in 3.4.x on Squeeze.
The output of mdadm changed again, so parsing that fails early on and
that breaks setup-storage.
I'll have a patch tomorrow.

Unfortunately, with msdos partition tables this doesn't yield the exact

script for GPT partition tables aligned to 1 MiB boundary.
