USB stick client for FAI install.

Happy New Year list! I am new to the list and a first time user of FAI but a long time user of Debian. I have several machines comming in that have no floppy and the motherboard doesn't support PXE boot. I'm wondering if there is a script like make-fai-bootfloppy for usb sticks? If not, does

Can FAI do Software RAID setups out of the box in version 3.1.4 (the version currently in Debian Etch)? I'm having a tough time trying to get this set this up after reading through the manual and searching the web. I'm not finding much in the way of HowTo's etc online. If anyone has this

Where is /etc/issue created? I have changed /srv/fai/nfsroot/etc/issue but after install it still says: Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 \n \l instead of showing the changes I've made? How do I change /etc/issue? Thanks

Timezone is set to UTC after install?

Hi all, I'm trying to have the timezone set to EST after the install is complete but it is always set to UTC. I have changed the config/class/FAIBASE.var file and set the time_zone values like this: # Set UTC=yes if your system clock is set to UTC (GMT), and UTC=no if not. UTC=no

tftp-hpa

Hi all, There seems to be a problem installing tftp-hpa from the debian repositories at the moment. I can't even download it via aptitude download tftp-hpa? Are any of you guys having this problem? Thanks Ralph
