Hello Nat,

I had a similar problem some time ago. I don't remember the exact dracut 
message. It has been a switch that had a static IP adress configured but 
windows dhcp server didn't know about that and gave that IP to my FAI client, 
too. 
Solution was to configure windows dhcp server.

First which dracut version are you using?
add rd.debug to see more debug output of dracut. Also read man
dracut.cmdline to see if more options help you debug the problem.
If dracut stops and drops you into a rescue shell you have some
commands to check you network settings.
