I just see the same behaviour if I put one node into standby and then
put it online again. The services are shortly stopped and then restarted.
In my opinion this behaviour contradicts the HA aspect of the system.

It seems as if the g_nfs service is stopped on the surviving node when
the other one comes up again.
Does anyone see a reason why the service does not continue to run?

we have two resources A and B
Cluster starts A on node1, and B on node2, while failover node for A is
node2 and failover node for B is node1
B cant start without A, so I have following location rules:
order first_A_then_B : A B
Problem/Question
now if B fails due to n

Thanks but that's a search in cib.xml ... I'll already have a solution
with xpath for that:
xpath /var/lib/heartbeat/crm/cib.xml
/cib/configuration/nodes/node/@uname 2>/dev/null
etc.
My question was slightly different ... but anyway, I'll parse cib.xml
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Ok I think my question was not clear : in fact, the pb is not to
do or not ssh "crm ..." , the pb is just to know the
hostname of the node to ssh it , in another way than parsing
the cib.xml to know which other nodes are in the same HA cluster
as the node where I am (knowing that corosync is s
This might sound obvious but is an ssh call acceptable?

Thanks Ulrich, but I'm on RHEL.

For what's worth it: With HP-UX ServiceGuard you can query the cluster on a
node that is configured as a member of the cluster but is currently "halted"
(down). I guess the comment temporarily launches some comminucation component
to query the information from another node...
