There is a very large distinction between:

- you don't pay for ${X} so I won't help diagnose your issue and get it fixed 
upstream, and
- you don't pay for ${X} so you don't get to make demands about what goes into 
packages for ${X}.

That you can't or won't see the difference says more about you than Lars.
