I do have a VIP - 192.168.2.2 that I want Apache to start up on. I

I edited the ports.conf and changed this:
Listen 192.168.2.2:80
To this:
Listen 127.0.0.1:80
Listen 192.168.2.2:80
I'm guessing, based on your wise email, that enabled the RA to query the
localhost for a web page and thus apache came up.
