hi,
i have some question in servering area:
- how to use "newusers" with explicit password. they put to password
filed "!". and after they created all the users, i change "!"'es to
"x", everything will be all right, but it is not nice. Is this a
bug, or feature?
Does any one have an experience with those ISA-cards with parallel ports
(some of them have serial port also).
Do I need a "driver" ? What device will it be mapped for ? Eventually I
want
to connect a ZIP drive, scanner and so on to one of those.
Thank you

Why? Size of partition? CPU usage? H.D. usage? Users not necessarly

Hi,
I gust visited netcenter and found an article about SGI and Linux.
In that article the writer said that "Linux lacks journaling file system",
Can anyone explain to me what that is ?
Thanks

If php3 is compiled without Mysql support, it doesn't support it. Plain

Does NT have these things, though? NT4 sure doesn't (unless there's
something major I'm not aware of). Sure they promise for it to be in
Windows 2000 but until 2004 we can add those things too, so...
quite interesting...

Hi,
This is a bit unrelated. I want to restrict cputime on tcsh to a
certain value, both hard and soft limits. I want users not to be able to
mess with it. Is it possible (without changing the code significantly,
this I can do myself) with the current code to use a cof file for tcsh
