I don't know how exactly his configuration works, but FWIW if you're
using shadow passwords from a Solaris server, a user cannot ypcat
passwd.adjunct, only root can.
Of course, this was the purpose of shadow passwords. The shadow password system
don't allow ordinary users to read the passwd
I get n error with several programs under linux (mostly xemacs21
recently) sayying that it can't convert string to type fontstruct. for

I am looking for more info about the vendor of my Ethernet NIC.
I got 2 things:
1) Its code is 00:00:21, which I found to belong to SCC (PAM SoftHardware
also reported).
2) It has something to do with VIA, but I do not even know if this is a NIC
vendor or a generic name for a chipset.
