Hi,
actually I think that it is very good that also such Job offers like the
one in CA appear on the list ! Without it I would have never heard about
it (or even dreamt of the possibilities) and since I will be needing a job
in the future and prefer to work in these fields I very much would like

What's weird in this? Apache for Win32 exists for a time now, so I do not
see something weird in it. I, personally, won't put NT on any webserver,

You should better use "hdparm -tT" instead of "hdparm -t". Read man
page of hdparm for more info.
By the way, have someone a good experie
Hi,
did you try to send your mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (the German one !) ?
Usually they are much better in such things. Also, did you take the
sources from the SuSE disks ? Because if so, you could claim that they
supplied broken sources which of course has to be dealt with.
Also, did you regis

First of all, I have no intention to flame Aviram Jenik. Actually he is
doing us a service by forcing us to define and clarify the scope of
on-topic subjects of the Linux-IL mailing list.

Is this list the proper forum for offers for jobs which can't be done in
Israel and/or not related to Linux?
I suggest that such job offers be banned from this mailing list. There
are enough mailing lists and Usenet groups for job offers from California
and other far and distant locations.

Hi All,
I've managed to talk to a friend who will be presenting Asus in the
Compuatx 2000 exhebition. The friends name is Dov Shoam, and he's the CEO
of Radix (www.radix.co.il). He is willing to give us presentation space in
his both to show linux, while doing it on Asus based computers.

Keren's job offer in Kiryat Tivon had the word 'linux' in conjuction with
system administration - is that all it takes for the message to be 'on
topic'?
As for the job's location (California) the owners are looking for IS

I don't think that Linux jobs in Israel should not be offered in
this list. Moreover, I can't understand the apologies, and the
"off-topic" on the title of them; There is nothing more ON-topic
then these offers: The list is to help Israe

This offer is from a very interesting company in California.
The company is called 'MatchCraft' and the contact person is:
