I need for my site a nice gnome and/or enlightenment screenshot to attract
users to use Linux..
If anybody here uses one of these (or a combination of them both), and is
able to burn 2 minutes of his time, please make a nice screenshot and send
me..

Enlightenment? now there is something that I wouldn't let a Linux newbie use!
It's slow! Matrox G400, AMD 800 Mhz, 320MB RAM - is this considered fast
machine? yet their CVS tree compile version is SLOW compared to my all
bloated KDE with all the colours, debug enabled version...

I may to agree, that Enlightenment is not for a newbie, but it is - NOT
horrid -.
I used a KDE, GNOME, e.t... Englightenment not crash ( i don't need here
debuging options ).
What you need from window manager...? Perhaps 'windows' better choice?
Would a photo of a garden gnome do?

Someone on the VMWare newsgroups is holding a patch that you should apply
(actually with 2.4.2ac13 and up) in order to make it work..
Contact them there: news server - news.vmware.com
I'm nagging VMWare team to move their ass to release an update to their
modules to work with 2.4.3
