One Other thing that I've implemented is a PAM module that checks for

Hi,
I have this old laptop I turned into a firewall. It is only doing IP
forwarding (NAT, MASQUERADING or whatever it takes) using iptables.
I have 256MB ram on it. My idea is to have the disk spin down unless it
is needed.
Any idea?

Hi List,
I thought it would be nice to have Hspell added to Fedora Core/Extra. In order
to contribute the software, I have to become a contributor. And for that, I need
to find a Fedora sponsor who would sponsor me.
Is there a Fedora sponsor in the audience?
Is there someone whose nephew knows
Interspect, the Checkpoint Internal Firewall has been repositioned as
an IPS, after 2 years of non-sales. The IDS engine is Snort.
My logic says that if you can get Snort for free and pay Sourcefire for
a signature subscription, why pay $40,000 for Interspect at all?
Betcha Interspect's

I use same core file and executeable image (copied with scp, checksum is same)
On the target machine, the gdb
