What do you mean text content ? A PDF is typically made of pages... you
can split a
pdftk.
concatenate, split, merge, ...

The unoconv version 0.3-6 package in Debian Squeeze still depends upon
some OpenOffice packages, which conflict with some LibreOffice packages,
which I don't want to uninstall.

I have not had the pleasure of setting NFS + NIS for quite a long time
(since 2000 approx), but now I need it for a client.
I've set up a lab at home to test it before I deployed it.
NFS mount works, no problems.
