Its sends messages to the client when it tries to upload files and when
it gets the list of a directory.

I installed leapFTP, and saw that there is option not to get directory
messages (when the window message apears it has a check box for it...) - so
this is the answer for me.
There is still the bug in proftpd (version 1.2.0rc2), that the "226-Transfer
complete" message comes
Did you put the line:
browseable = yes
for the shared directories in smb.conf file?

good advise, when you have problems with PCI devices, try to "reset PCI" at
your bios setup. I solved some problems this way (I'm not sure I did it in
