Hebrew on KDE3.0b2

Hi I've compiled the lond awaited KDE3.0 beta 2, and it works ok, more or less. The hebrew support is also excellent, except for one strange thing: I can write herbew in kedit very well (RTL and all), but once i save the document, and open it again, i get just ??? ?? ?. also, hebrew

What's relevant is the text encoding selected in KEdit when saving. You can select a text encoding in the Save As dialog. Nope, that option doesn't exist in kedit, only in kate. would be nice to have it, though. The question isn't which font you select in Notepad but how you save it in
