Yeah, I tried the -remote thing, I wrote about it in my second message. Anyhow, it seems like the ping() returns 0, which means there's an instance open, when a Thunderbird instance exists even if you ping from MozillaFirebird-bin, and then when you try to do openURL you get an error, because
