some people do not want to upgrade their distribution because it will mean a
lot of work
updating their scripts. and to move from 2.0.x to 2.2.x you need to upgrade a
lot ...
it took me for instance, a lot of time to upgrade my server from 2.0.36 (rh5.2)
to 2.2.x (rh6.1)

Yesterday X decided to freeze on me - the display froze, and the keyboard
did not respond. It seemes to be a probelm with my X server (XFcom_i740),
since a rectangle on the screen was misplaced as it froze.
Anyway - I logged in from another station, and saw that X was taking 90%

I have done some checking here on my Linux. I think you can safely ignore those
errors. Here is why.
Redhat 6.1 with KDE got some modifications. It runs on the background the

If you put a data CD, it will mount it
I just need to add that unlike most of the computer parts, memory
components are subject to customs.
This is why memory is relatively higher in Israel than in the states. If I
recall correctly, the government doesn't collect tax for microchips but do
collect tax for the boards (the printed

I must note, that I didn't write that there is no custom on laptops;
There is (VERY small, I don't know how much exactly). I only answered
the question whether this is the reason for

Why do you not use XFree 3.3.5 ? I
in the end of this meeting, we had some argument with mike, regarding what

Hee, Look how my outlook express 5 sees the recieptions..
Anyway, it is Mark, and not Mike.
I just want to point another little issue: I think there aren't much
examples of
companies that moved all there stuff to linux systems. When it will be,
we will see linux's problems ...
