Install rpm 3.0.5. It can install rpm4 packages as well. You may use it to
install rpm4. Just be aware that you have to do a rpm --rebuildb afterwards.
Just to be safe, backup your whole /var/lib/rpm before rpm4 to be sure. It
_can_ be a somewhat hairy procedure. According to the rpm-list, there
Install RPM 3.0.6 or 3.0.5. It can install V4 RPM files
on machines using RPM 3.

Hi.
I want to install mod_ssl by rpm. The only RPM I could for mod_ssl requires
rpm 4.0 (the one that comes with RH7).
Now the interesting part: To install rpm 4.0 by RPM, I need... rpm 4.0.
I don't want to compile rpm 4.0 and I don't want to compile mod_ssl. SO how

I have a system in the old city (Jerusalem) that I need to get connected.

Can anyone point out the cost benef
I don't know what your problem is, but I get the same messages as you do after
running PPTP. As far as I understand, these are just debug messages. But, at
least in my case, after these messages, I am in fact connected to ADSL. Try
PING to see if you are connected.

Hi,
It was posted here, so the best thing I can offer you is to search through
the archives.
There was one error that was corrected a little later on. You need to use
PAP instead of CHAP.
