Would someone explain to the uninformed (like myself): why not reject incoming
messages with repeated Message-ID field? Is it somehow difficult to do with the
mailing list software? Or is it politcally incorrect to require that header?

ok, there are two annoying phenomenae,
one where my posts get bounced from tmicha.net, and you can't
look at the message id it's not the same

Pardon a slightly dumb question but ...
As far as I know (Open) Motif has been available at source level for
quite some time.
Next, I'd expect any kind of bidi conversion/extension to be the same
whether for classified Chetz usage for a business application. Hebrew is
Hebrew and bidi is bidi.
I am probably missing some basic thing.
I tried setting up an HP PSC 2210 printer using CUPS, all went fine and
I could print a test page.
Then I tried printing from OpenOffice and nothing prints.
I tried sending a file with lpr and it gave me an error:
lp: unknown printer
