I am Ccing it to linux-il. I believe it is of general interest and
that I am not offending anyone privacy. Feel free to tell me otherwise
since the original message was sent on private.

Do note that I should have said classroom/hall. Classrooms are
probably easier to arrange. However I do believe that most, if not all,
can arrange a hall too.

Here are the ones I can think of. Order is insignificant.

1) telux, in Tel-Aviv. Coordinated by
   shlomif(at-nospam)t2.technion.ac.il.
2) Tau's beginners series, in Tel-Aviv. Coordinator is
   eddiea(at-nospam)tau.ac.il
3) IDC, Herzeliya. I believe that tal(at)achituv.com, 055-956369, might
prefer this place as it is near his work place or that he actually
study there? Whatever the reason is, you might try him for better
   inside contacts.
4) JLC. Jerusalem Linux club. mailto:amichai at iglu dot org dot il.
5) John Bryce. Tel-Aviv. Coordinator is Moshe (Miki) Barzilay,
   Linux(at-nospam)superior.co.il
6) Haifux. Haifa. The 1st and the biggest club ?
   http://www.haifux.org/givelecture.html
7) BIU, Bar Ilan university. You might try
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/help-linux. Yet I believe you should
post there only a short message saying that you are looking to give
free lectures about Linux and would like that list to comment about
   it.
8) Perl mongers, Ramat Gan. As the name suggests, their primary interest
is on Perl. If you are willing to talk about Perl they might like it.
However lately they are running a series on other languages. In
short, you might talk to them: gabor(at)perl.org.il.

Are there more?

Here is what I can say:

The full details are at
http://plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il/Linux/maillists/03/10/threads.html#00415
I don't know where/if I have met him other then on the mentioned thread.
In any case I hardly know him. I believe that the thread which is
mentioned above shows lot of enthusiasm on his part and a strong
belief that together Linux will be moved to the center. I suggested to
be the man in the middle and he agrees as he is looking for a stage and
help on bringing the audience.

Did I miss something?
