a new programming tutorial is avaiable via the LUPG site -
http://www.actcom.co.il/~choo/lupg/ - Basic Graphics Programming using The
Xlib Library. the tutorial is available on the 'tutorials' page, in the
'intermediate' section, under the 'graphics programming' sub-section, and
is hopefully the first in a series of graphics programming tutorials...

Note: i am quite aware that Xlib programming is old, not realy useful, and
"pass'e" - but i wanted to start on some solid grounds. besides - i found
that Xlib knowledge is still useful even these days (e.g. when one wants
to modify the bahaviour of some bloated window managed that lacked some
desired key bindings...).

any comments about this tutorial, error corrections, suggestions for
improvement and general questions are welcome.

have fun,
guy
