Thought you might find this useful, TUDix features Eclipse natievly
compiled (gcj) and many other tools developed under GPL for
LinuxInfoTag.

The main differences between Knoppix 3.2 and TUDix are:
** More development tools:
Hugs (Haskell), SWI Prolog, Jikes, GCJ, Kaffe, Eclipse (compiled
natively as on RedHat Enterprise 3), Dresden-OCL (Object Constraint
Language implementation for Java)

** Other student tools:
Blender3D (graphics courses), KLogic and gEDA (engineering), Euler
(math), TeTeX (for generating PDFs from LaTeX)

** University projects:
- Fiasco/ux (user-space port of the L4 microkernel Fiasco), with
recently GPLed DOpE desktop, and other demo tools (SDL console,
real-time benchmarks)
- JAP, the Java Anon Proxy for anonymized web browsing, running as a
proxy on http://localhost:4001

** Some geek stuff:
- Linux 1.3 (DLX) image for Bochs
- Radiostation, a bash/dialog port of kderadiostation
