Hello all

I have been looking fro linmodems for a while and I found areally cheap one
(what I am looking for): it's a motorolla model (contact me privatly for the
location since I do not want to advertise here). My question is: I konw that
motorla's modems are not very good, but how is the driver? According to
motorola it is 2.4 model, how good is it against all 2.4.X kernels? Does it
consume a lot of processor? I have a 233 computer, which thease days is
going slow for winmodems, so I suspect that on linux the driver will be less
effient and slower then the windows one (since the programmers have more
experince on win32 code).

BTW: the model I want is the v92, which is the new standard. Should I wait
for toruble and will it be supported under linux (v90 will be I am sure).
