I still have a yamaha sound card and still havent yet been sucessfull in
configuring it.
I used the alsa drivers (alsa-project.org)everything goes well untill the
modprobe
command which gives me an error saying that there is a wrong line in the
conf.modules
snd_id line 8.
My card is a 32 bit

ymf724. you HAVE to use the latest drivers ..
