Sorry for posting this message to the list, but i don't know what's
happenning. Since two weeks ago i haven't recieved any mail from the
list. I tried to resubscribe again, but i received no response, so i have
to use web archives to access the list. Anybody know what the problem is?

How it's the support of ATA100 in the linux kernel? Do I need to use 2.4
to get full speed or is enough to configure the drive with hdparm? When i

I have a cd writer and a cdrom in the same pc. When the kernel has SCSI
support compiled as a module, cdrecord doesn't find anything (hdb=ide-scsi
