Three back to back make -j 30 runs for three different kernels.
Swap cache numbers are taken immediately after last completion.
The performance increase is nice, though. Do you see similar
changes in different kinds of workloads ?
I you have a patch against 2.4.4-ac11 I will do some
in the config. No doubt at
all. I also use make mrproper and config again before dep and actual
compile. Maybe it is just a quirk/oddball.

are likely to have random cvs snapshots and none of them are going to build
kernels with them anyway, as they wont work __builtin_expect or otherwise.

new compiled kernel to it. After that I do a lilo -v -C /mnt/lilo.conf.
All following commands which are floppy related (filesystem) fall into the D
state. Load goes up by 100 for every D state process.

one liner send here on lkm seems to be not enough. Even
Alan's ac1/2 did not do the trick. The 'new' Linux makefile changes brake
this stuff. It works before these changes.
So Rik any comments?
