To be able to perform page flips in DRM without flicker we need to be
able to notify the rcar-du module when the VSP has completed its
processing.
We must not have bidirectional dependencies on the two components to
maintain support for loadable modules, thus we extend the API to allow
a callback
Currently we process page flip events on every display interrupt,
however this does not take into consideration the processing time needed
by the VSP1 utilised in the pipeline.
Register a callback with the VSP driver to obtain completion events, and
track them so that we only perform page flips
The RCAR-DU utilises a running VSPD pipeline to perform processing
for the display pipeline.
Changes to this pipeline are performed with an atomic flush operation which
updates the state in the VSPD. Due to the way the running pipeline is
operated, any flush operation has an implicit latency of
If we try to commit the display list while an update is pending, we have
missed our opportunity. The display list manager will hold the commit
until the next interrupt.
In this event, we inform the vsp1 completion callback handler so that
the du will not perform a page flip out of turn.
Fixed style of block comments across whole driver

The interface to configure the LIF in the VSP1 requires adapting the
function prototype for any changes. This makes extending the interface
difficult.
Change the function prototype to pass a structure which can be easily
extended.

Keeping buffers filled into the bitstream on a temporary list instead of
immediately calling vb2_buffer_done on each of them immediately allows
start_streaming to correctly decide whether they should be marked as
done or requeued if an error occurs after the bitstream has been filled.
With reordering enabled, the sequence init in CODA960 firmware requests an
unreasonable number of internal frames for some baseline profile streams.
Disabling the reordering feature manually if baseline streams are detected
fixes this problem.

streamon and streamoff are used as boolean values, not as bitfields.
Therefore, the logical && should be used to combine them.

The bitstream reader needs 512 bytes ready to read to examine the
headers in the first frame. If that frame is too small, prepend it
with a filler NAL.

I'm not the biggest fan
tveeprom_hauppauge_analog() used to need the I2C adapter in
order to print debug messages. As it now uses pr_foo() facilities,
this is not needed anymore.
So, get rid of it.

This patch series adds MFC v10.10 support. MFC v10.10 is used in some
of Exynos7 variants.
This adds support for following:
* Add support for HEVC encoder and decoder
* Add support for VP9 decoder
* Update Documentation for control id definitions
* Update computation of min scratch buffer size
Aligning the luma_dpb_size, chroma_dpb_size, mv_size and me_buffer_size
for MFCv10.10.

This patch renames macro IS_MFCV8 to IS_MFCV8_PLUS so that the MFCv8
code can be resued for MFCv10.10 support. Since the MFCv8 specific code
holds good for MFC v10.10 also.

After MFC v8.0, mfc f/w lets the driver know how much scratch buffer
size is required for decoder. If mfc f/w has the functionality,
E_MIN_SCRATCH_BUFFER_SIZE, driver can know how much scratch buffer size
is required for encoder too.
