i'd like to start a dos programm made by myself under suse linux 8.0.
how can i start this programm by a cron job? like: dosemu -run
/.../programname.exe ?
it doesn't work! or is dosemu run permanently. i like to start different
programms at different times. the programms runs under dosemu

I have a dos program builted in FoxPro
- when I run in it console mode ($dosemu), it looks horrible
- when I runt it in GUI mode ($xdosemu), it looks perfect
Problem is that I want it run in console mode!
1. what do you mean by 'horrible' the font, layout, colors, controls, mode?

I have all the problems solved (at least those according to cp852 and
multiple lines, the memory bug remains)
solution, for anyone else having the problem (assuming you have fetched
compiled recent freedos, dosemu from cvs)
1. download the cp852 (or any other) fonts
I played a bit with trying to make dosemu use the installed fonts
(including hand-edition of the fonts description files) with varied effect
none actually working. I'll have to try more, till that I went for
switching resolution from commandline which gives good results as far as
font
font size in 80x50.
I just saw that there is a newer version in CVS about the 43 lines
problem, mine is a bit older...
I have yesterday's checkout compiled.

Get this package: xfonts-terminus-dos_4.12-2_all.deb
If you don't use Debian (like me) open it (I used Ark), get the cp852
font, and install it manually in Xfonts. and run mkfontdir. Configure
