However, IF the partition 'raw device' is being made accessible to
DOS kernal and the DOS KERNEL is mounting the partition, then
you should be able to use 1 of many undelete/unerase utilities
that can be found...

Ok, here's what happened. I was browsing an mp3 directory on the hard-drive,
marking files for deleting. Somehow in Lynx when I hit r to remove, instead
it tried removing my entire mp3
than assuming
0x200 (512 bytes) in some form.
-- what it does with the result/comparison!
I can make a program to limit the returned maximum and available clusters
to something like 1FFF I wonder what your program does though!

I can see from that what kind of 'sane' (or 'insane') values are being
returned from that dos function under dosemu.
