no problems with that; this is the reason for the conservative default
hogthreshold -- if I set hogthreshold to 0 then my laptop fans will spin
up quickly too. If you want to restrict user usage of the CPU then root
will need to adjust some settings in /etc/security/limits.conf (or
similar).
