My GOPRO camera named the image sequence from G0010172.JPG up to
G0010570.JPG Invalid Openshot said . I couldne figure out a way for

Bad Idea making this low. I just installed Ubuntu Studio 14.04 x64
clean, and OpenShot Image Sequences are unusable due to this. It took me

I also have this bug on 1.4.3. Is there a workaround? I cannot import
image files from my gopro camera as the filenames are like G0010013.JPG.

I've take a look at your images and all seems to be okay for me.

Hum I would like to be sure that you don't have any residue of old version of
MLT. Normally, if all has been removed correctly that should work fine.

You must remove this old part of MLT. For that, i suggest to remove with
synaptic and the option purge completely MLT. Obviously, Openshot will be
removed. Once time you have done that, check always with

I have updated Openshot to 1.4.3 and MLT with the ppa's provided.
Actually, libmlt++3 and melt were kept in the current versions
(libmlt++3 0.7.6+git20120204-2 and melt

This bug seems to have been fixed in previous versions but came back in
1.4.0 (see bug #424988).
The workaround I'm using is the following shell command:
for a in DSC*.JPG; do b=${a:4:4};mv $a $((b-4321)).jpg; done
It makes DSC04322.JPG into 1.jpg by extracting the number part and
subtracting
This should at least be documented in the release notes or somthing. It
took me a bit to find out this was the problem with my image sequence.
