[linux-usb-devel] Unbinding drivers for devices with children

Greg and Pat: I've heard there's work going on to allow for manual binding and unbinding of drivers to devices, although I haven't seen any of the email. (URLs appreciated!) Here's a subtle point which may not have occurred to anyone yet: When a device has children, what should happen to them w

2005-08-06 Thread Roman I Khimov
Hello. I've just tried a USB->RS232 adapter (BAFO BF-810), it's PL2303 based one, and I have a bad problem with it. My current kernel is 2.6.13-rc3-mm3, but I've also tried it with 2.6.12-rc5-mm1 - the same problem. I can also try recent -rc5 and -rc4-mm1, will compile them now. It's recognized a

[linux-usb-devel] Writing new usb-storage driver, stall on control pipe

Hi, I'm writing a new usb-storage subdriver to support card readers based on the Alauda chip. I've sniffed some data and I am building up an idea of how the thing works. I have attempted to put pen to paper but I am having trouble sending anything on the control pipe. When I plug it in, I
