When working on the mcs7830, I noticed the need for a mutex in its
mdio_read/mdio_write functions. A related problem seems to be present
in the asix driver in the respective functions.
This introduces a mutex in the common usbnet driver and uses it
from the two hardware specific drivers.

This driver adds support for the DeLOCK USB ethernet adapter
and potentially others based on the MosChip MCS7830 chip.
It is based on the usbnet and asix drivers as well as the
original device driver provided by MosChip, which in turn
was based on the usbnet driver.
It has been tested successfull

Apparently works. :-)

This adds generic support for the ethtool commands get_settings,
set_settings, get_link and nway_reset to usbnet. These are now
implemented using mii functions when a low-level driver supports
mdio_read/mdio_write and does not override the usbnet ethtool
commands with its own.

Patch against 2.6.9.18-rc7 + gregkh-all-2.6.18-rc7.patch applied to
add support for Alcor Micro Corp. USB 2.0 TO RS-232 converter. This
patch adds VID and PID to pl2303.[ch], adds it to the "HORRIBLE HACK
FOR PL2303" in usb-serial.c and also prevents cdc-acm to claim driving

Hi Greg,
Have just read your book of chapter 13 last week, I am still new to USB :-).

this first before worrying about your code :)
I did see a message of "usb.c: registered new driver MX" when the module
was inserted. Di
OK strike that one!
It was working OK for 3 days, even when running lsusb -vvv (which
always caused this error and locked up the keyboard), but it just
happened again.
So this *DOES NOT* really fix things for the Trust keyboard.
I'm sorry, I really thought it did. :]

This patch fixes the message 'input irq status -32' from constantly
appearing in the syslog. (It is the same as an earlier patch for the
Silvercrest keyboard -- noticing the same vendor ID on my USB
keyboard, figured the patch would work, and it does.) It updates the

This patch removes, from hid-core.c, an unnecessary duplicate entry in
hid_blacklist (the Silvercrest keyboard is in there twice). It also
removes a duplicately defined vendor ID (the Creative Labs ID, 0x062a
is in there as USB_VENDOR_ID_SILVERCREST as well).
