Yes! I always have had this problem on my iMac. Generally, I think the Keyspan PDA adapter can only work at 57,600. I usually forget this, so when I try to use it at 115,200, nothing happens. Only when I remember and switch to 57,600 do I get a hard freeze. I have no idea why this happens. :)

[linux-usb-devel] Lockup with Keyspan PDA

I have a keyspan pda adaptor on a mac powerboot. This is with kernel 2.4.5 and 2.4.6-pre5. I can generally connect to the serial port 2 times at 115200, but the data is corrupted in wierd ways (bits are stuck or something). The third time I connect the machine freezes. Maybe an endian issue?
