Seems to me that ftdi_sio.c lost the implementation for the new functions tiocmset and tiocmget in the patch usb-ftdi_sio-2.5.75.patch.
I've made a patch for 2.6.1-rc1-ben1 which moves the code from the ioctl and out into the two new functions.
