I just got a new Garmin eTrex Vista C which, unlike it's predecessors, has a USB interface instead of serial. Garmin was nice enough to provide some, although Windows-centric, documentation: http://www.garmin.com/support/commProtocol.html I was hoping that it would just appear like a USB serial
