I considered such a patch for bug 154955, but didn't push it for
two reasons:

Hey, Pete! I follow the post instruction. It works once ub is used for my ipod
instead of usb-storage. You are the man!
I do also have the lastest iPod with 0x1209. The same one as in the post. I
tried to add it to unusual_devs.h but
