I have both an sddr09 and sddr55, and both yielded the same symptom.
(Bought the sddr55 back when there wasn't any
I did a little repetitive compilation and narrowed down where it
broke.
2.4.21-pre5 - works fine
2.4.21-pre6 - hard lock w/ usb-storage
2.4.21-pre7 - same timeout symptoms as with everything else newer.
