I'll save Alan the trouble this time (he has suffered enough) :)
This camera has 2 diferent models with the same vendor/product ID. One that needs the entry, and another that doesn't need it.
We are in the process of fixing the driver, so that it stops complaining about this device. Probably the next kernel version (2.6.6?) will stop complaining.
