Sorry for the long delayed reply, I've been trying a few different
kernel builds to test for different behaviour. Right now I have just a
simple 2.6.6 kernel autoinstalled from the Debian testing build, and I
get the saem '2 out of 1' message although things still work. The sound
is on /dev/d
