I'm trying to figure out how wireless mouse events get handled in linux. I currently have an older kernel (2.4) and the wireless keyboard works (PS/2) get handled properly, but the usb wireless mouse doesn't seem to work properly. I am not sure if I should expect the standard HID drivers to

Anybody help? I am using the Wacom DTF-720 and DTF-521, both usb with an embedded linux distro (MontaVista Linux), 2.4 kernel version. USB is handled fairly straightforward, usb.c handles low level communication, while hid-core.c will invoke the proper driver (wacom.c) when plugged in.
