Hi,
Is the PalmConnect serial to USB converter for the Palm HotSync cradle
supported? I'm running 2.2.17, and when I plug it in, essentially "device
not recognized" is written to /var/log/messages.
Is this device supported in a later kernel, or if not, is there any work
being done to support it?
Hi,
Is the Dexxa mini mouse (USB) supported? I'm running 2.2.17, and when I
plug it in, essentially "device not recognized" is written to
/var/log/messages.
Is this device supported in a later kernel, or if not, is there any work
being done to support it?
Thanks

Hi
I am looking at porting the Linux driver for the UHCI host controller onto
a custom kernel. We have developed a soft real-time kernel using OSKIT for
embedded systems. Since we need to capture images for some of the
applications we have also ported the Linux BTTV driver to the kernel.
Currently

Hi
I'm trying to use USB with linux 2.4.2 and RH7.0
When I try to load the module I get this error
#/sbin/modprobe usb-uhci
/lib/modules/2.4.2/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o: init_module: No such
device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IR
Back in January I had USB and DEVFS working, together, proably with
one of the 'pre' kernels.
Since then Ive moved forward to 2.4.2 and I cant get any thing to work
with USB (ok no printer, no scanner).
Is there a PATCH I need to know about? Something else?
Im running
kernel 2.4.2

You probably need to load the modules that would drive it. The hotplug
scripts are meant to do this for you, see
http://linux-hotplug.sourceforge.net/ or our FAQ.

Using "lspci -vv" should tell you whether its programming
interface is UHCI or OHCI.
