Hi im currently run slackware 7.1 (kernel 2.2.16) and i have usb modem : Hewlett packard: HP 56K V90 USB Data Fax Modem i wonder if thats a linux modem or a winmodem can someone help me how to make it run in my linux thanks

Hi, Is the PalmConnect serial to USB converter for the Palm HotSync cradle supported? I'm running 2.2.17, and when I plug it in, essentially "device not recognized" is written to /var/log/messages. Is this device supported in a later kernel, or if not, is there any work being done to support it?

Back in January I had USB and DEVFS working, together, proably with one of the 'pre' kernels. Since then Ive moved forward to 2.4.2 and I cant get any thing to work with USB (ok no printer, no scanner). Is there a PATCH I need to know about? Something else? Im running kernel 2.4.2
