I use(d) a 2.6.10 kernel and the usb-storage/ehci_hcd modules to connect to a
USB hard disk (together with ide-scsi emulation). Suddenly the hard
disk does not work anymore (the same under Windows XP). After enabling
usb-storage debugging in the kernel I get the following output (after
attachi
I have a ftdi_sio FT245BM device to which I am streaming about 15KB/s
(150Kb/s) of data. There's a relatively small amount of data being
returned (<1KB/s). The actual writes are in chunks of about 32B each.
I am seeing high CPU usage on my 2.8GHz pentium4 running fedora core 4
(kernel 2.6.14-1

I'm somewhat puzzled by the following - and I hope someone here might
be able to give me a hint. I bought a Belkin Wireless G USB Network
Adapter (a stick, part number F5D7050). The first time I plugged it
in, the kernel recognized it and was aware of the Vendor etc ID

I have a small question to do.
Since I started playing with the kernel and one of my usb devices
broke, I have a question in my mind.
Can a bad configured kernel broke any usb (or any other type) devices ?
I am running a Linksys USB100TX USB ethernet device (Pegasus II) on an
ARM (S3C2410) host. It works fine with 2.6.10 (Pegasus driver version
0.5.12), but I have problems with 2.6.14.3 (driver version 0.6.12); the
symptom can be shown by doing a flood ping from another machine; many
packets are lost

Can the CDCEther driver be used to connect to a router? I have a
2Wire 1000SW I'd like to connect to over usb instead of ethernet.
I've tried ndiswrapper without success. When I run lsusb -s 002:002 -v,
I get:
