Hi Just a bit of a guess, but maybe you are being too quick for it. After plugging in, try just waiting for a few seconds before doing the mount. I notice similar behaviour with a USB C-Flash card reader. After plugging in, I have to pause for a moment before it will mount. Hope this helps. Kevin

Hi All I have a Freecom FS-1 CD-RW that I plug into my Compaq Armada laptop. Everything used to work fine using SuSE 8.1. However, when I tried to upgrade to SuSE 8.2 it stopped working. I have also tried with various other distro's without success. For a while I have since just stayed with 8.1, bu
