I have a Motorola i90c phone. But I use the serial and not the usb cable.
Maybe there is a bug with usb or something

Maybe unrelated, but I remember having some problems with some SCSI cards
(a Tekram DC3x5 I think) that would really perform badly with R/W unless I
was in single user mode (I never figured out why though).

My burner (Acer CDR 4406EU) works now only with usb-uhci.
Before it worked only with uhci.
Now with uhci it gives me a "Loss of streaming"
I have a problem with my Acer 4406U A.EZ external cdrw drive.
I use cdrecord 1.11.a04 with kernel 2.4.17.
This error is recent though, previous kernels used to work flawlessly.
I already had the drive replaced by Acer (same error as before).
When I try to burn anything I get this error:

When I run
cdrecord -scanbus
I get:
"usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout" and "USB device not accepting new
address=x (error=-110)"
and after a while, scsi_eh_0 stack dumps.
