Hello I've got the above USB printer, which works under 2.4 (with the manufacturer-supplied closed-source filter). Under 2.6 (currently 2.6.2-rc1) the best I was able to get out of it was one symbol (I was trying to print a test page, consisting of lines with 1 dot per line).
In /var/log/messages I get: Feb 8 22:28:40 poirot lpd[14613]: lp: filter 'f' terminated (termsig=84) Feb 8 22:28:40 poirot lpd[14613]: lp: job could not be printed (cfA098poirot.grange) Any ideas?
