Lonnie i do not know who originally posted the problem, but the offending line here: wisdomio.c:104: internal error: Segmentation fault seems to be the fault. Seg faults are general one of two things: 1: Null pointer 2. putting data int array passed it set index length, ie char data[10]

Meaning the built-in XFree drivers work with my GF4. The nvidia drivers would work as well with previous releases, but since my chipset (KT400) has not to the best of my knowledge been added into 2.4 the 2.5.x kernel is my only option. AFAIK the NVidia drivers require 2.4 for their kernel
